Gord Love brings extensive experience to The Rosedale Group, specializing in managing the financial affairs of ultra-high net worth individuals and families.

Gord has worked as a Wealth Advisor for over 16 years. Prior to that he gained valuable experience as a Chartered Accountant in various capacities.
Gord graduated with a B.A. in Economics from The University of Western Ontario. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Accountant (CA), a member of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners, as well as a member of the Ontario and Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Gord is also committed to community involvement. He serves on numerous Boards, including Past-Chair of the Scarborough Golf and Country Club; Director of Workman Arts; Co-Chair of the Art Gallery of Ontario’s Massive Party Committee; Co-Chair of The Power Ball; member of the Cancer Campaign Cabinet for the Sunnybrook Foundation Edmond Odette Cancer Centre; and a member of the Canada Walk of Fame Organization Committee.
Gord resides in Toronto, has two children, and is an avid golfer, skier and sailor.

Douglas A. Fraser, CA
Investment Associate
Doug Fraser has over 12 years experience in serving higher net worth clients in all facets of their financial affairs. As an experienced Chartered Accountant (“CA”), he has particular expertise in personal income tax matters and estate planning.
Doug’s approach to wealth management emphasizes the development of all-inclusive strategies focused on a comprehensive financial plan. The implementation of the plan normally encompasses asset management, income tax planning, risk management and retirement and estate planning
Doug graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is a Chartered Accountant (“CA”) and member of both the Canadian and Ontario Institutes of Chartered Accountants. Doug’s early professional experience was in public accounting where he gained valuable tax experience. This was followed by senior financial and operating positions with a mid-sized Canadian public company, which provided initial exposure to investment management and retirement planning.
Doug’s commitment to community involvement is currently focused with the Magic of Metals Foundation, a charity raising funds for the Childrens Wish Foundation.
Doug and Elayne live in Burlington. They have two daughters, Andrea in Toronto and Amy in London, England.

John Sproat
Investment Associate
With a career spanning investment and securities advice, commercial banking / lending and advanced life insurance planning, John has been fully entrenched in financial services for well over 10 years. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and licensed insurance agent, he graduated from the University of Western Ontario’s Business Arts program with a minor in French, and has spent over six years advising clients on effective strategies to maximize wealth, minimize taxes, and create professional solutions for their estate needs.
John developed his advisory aptitudes as a key member of a large, fixed-income focused investment management team on Canada’s west coast and has had the opportunity to work at three of Canada’s major investment dealers. Since 2006, John has worked almost exclusively with clients on portfolio management, trading and investing research, helping them to identify and achieve their financial goals. He joined up with Gord Love mid-2009, and is exclusively committed to clients of the Rosedale Group and their comprehensive family wealth management.
Away from the office, John lives an active lifestyle with his wife Rebecca, their son Jesse, and daughter Alexa. They enjoy sports, good food, the outdoors and spending lots of time at the beach.

Sarah Jones
Investment Associate
Sarah moved to Toronto in 1992 after graduating from Bishop's University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Economics. Her career with ScotiaMcLeod began later that same year, and her primary focus has been in the area of portfolio construction and management. As a Wealth Manager, she draws on her wide range of experience in these specialties and her desire to build and foster client relationships. Having grown up overseas, Sarah has always enjoyed traveling the globe, and meeting new people. She enjoys skiing, golf, and running having completed the New York Marathon in 2008.

Mary Ellen Dewis
Branch Manager, Associate Director
Mary Ellen joined ScotiaMcleod in 2001 as a Branch Administrator. She worked in this capacity for 5 years. During this time she was recognized as Scotia’s “Best of the Best” in 2004 and was the recipient of the “Branch Administrator of the Year” in 2005. In 2006 she was made an Assistant Branch Manager in one of the downtown branches at Scotia Plaza. In 2008 she opened the One St. Clair branch with Gord Love. She is currently the Branch Manager. This year Mary Ellen was granted the title of Associate Director in recognition of her ongoing contribution to ScotiaMcleod.
Prior to her career with ScotiaMcLeod she worked at McCarthy Tetrault in various capacities over an eight year period. Mary Ellen is a graduate of The University of Toronto, is the mother of four children, and an avid golfer.

Ada Lau
Investment Associate
Ada has been with The Rosedale Group since 2008. She started working with Scotiabank in the Client Accounting Department in 1999 and moved over to ScotiaMcLeod from 2000-2005, before taking a work sabbatical and returning in 2007. Combined, she has over 10 years of experience working with ScotiaMcLeod.
Ada uses her flair for business and organizational skills to effectively help The Rosedale Group manage their clients. On a day to day basis Ada oversees the overall operations of Gord Love’s business. Aside from the administrative duties that she is responsible for, Ada also completes custom reports and helps to manage Gord Love’s busy schedule, ensuring that every client gets the care and attention they deserve.
Ada graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative and Commercial Studies, concentration in Finance and Economics stream, with a minor in French. She is currently working towards her Chartered Investment Manager Designation.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, reading, being an active member of the ScotiaMcLeod Dragonboat team, and is also pursuing a Culinary Arts Certificate as part of the Continuing Education program at George Brown College.
Deanna Celotti
Administrative Associate
Deanna transferred over to ScotiaMcLeod in 2010 after working with Scotiabank for two years. She provides administrative assistance to The Rosedale Group, helping the team stay organized so that a high level of client care is consistently executed.
Deanna is a people person with strong organizational and administrative skills. She started with Scotiabank as a part time Customer Service Representative while finishing school, helping clients with their day to day banking. This progressed into client administration with ScotiaMcLeod where Deanna excels at performing administrative duties such as opening client accounts, preparing portfolio review packages, assisting with trades, and much more.
Deanna is a University of Toronto graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce, with a specialization in Finance and a Major in Economics.
Deanna lives in Richmond Hill and enjoys going to the cottage, skiing and swimming.
